We are having our 2nd Gospel Sunday on 29 September. Our guest preacher is Mr. Lim Chien Chong, who has been with the Singapore Youth for Christ since 1998. He was its National Director for 16 years and has handed over the leadership role to a younger team in 2021. He now takes on the role of Teaching & Resource Director. He serves as a deacon in his church, ministering in the pulpit, Bible class and children’s ministry. He also teaches in churches and youth groups across Singapore. He has been married for 22 years and has two teenage sons.
Synopsis: Our reality often centres around the physical and material aspects of life. Our experiences tell us that there is more to life that we are missing. The loving God who designed the good life also seeks to restore it to its fullness. We begin to live fully when we see our “lostness” and return to this loving God. We can still miss it if we fail to grow in our relationship with God, which is the heart of life’s fullness.
