Be Thankful

Looking back at the past eleven months, I am thankful for the many times God answered my prayers and for God’s gracious provisions to all my needs: physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual. I am thankful also for God’s strengthening and sustaining grace in my life and ministry.

1 November 1755 was a devastating day for all of Europe. An earthquake of magnitude 8.5-9.0 came upon the Portuguese capital of Lisbon – at that time a major city in Enlightenment Europe. The earthquake was followed by a massive tsunami and wild fires that brought the proud capital to its feet.
