About Jesus

Who Is Jesus?

It may be the most important question you’ll ever ask.

Living in multi-religious Singapore, we may come from different faith backgrounds. Or perhaps we would rather avoid religion altogether. It may lead us to answer the question in many different ways.

Yet, diverse opinions about Jesus isn’t something we can observe only in 21st century, multi-religious Singapore.

During His time on earth, Jesus’ very presence was already a point of remarkable debate.

Some said that Jesus was God. Others said that He was demon possessed. Some said Jesus was a good teacher. Others called Him a liar. Some said He was brilliant. Others labelled Him insane.

Jesus was acclaimed as a prophet. And He was also dismissed as a blasphemer.

So who is this Jesus, the one who’s been subject to so many opinions? Whatever your take, it may be the most important question you’ll ever consider.

To answer this question, we will turn to the pages of the Bible. But we understand that if you aren’t a Christian, you may ask whether the Bible is a reliable source in the first place.

A Historical Figure

Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, walked the earth living a sinless life, died a sacrificial death by crucifixion under a Roman governor, and was raised from the dead for many to witness.

Jesus Is

Lord of the Universe

Through Jesus Christ all things were created, and all things were created for Him. God has exalted Him to the highest place so that everyone must acknowledge Him as Lord.

Jesus Is

Only Saviour of
the World

Jesus is the only way to God. He came to save the world from their sins by His sacrificial death and subsequent resurrection. God calls everyone, everywhere, to repent of their sins and trust in what Christ has done on their behalf in order to be saved from sin and reconciled to God.

Some Ways To Find Out More...

Ask Class

This 5-session exploratory class is for you if you're keen to know more about Christianity.

Each session starts with a short presentation on an aspect of the Christian faith, followed by a time of discussion for you to ask questions in a safe environment.

Alpha Course

Alpha is a 12-session course with opportunities to make friends over meals, share your thoughts, and explore the meaning of life with others.

Each session begins with a simple meal, a time of singing, and games. After that, we'll play a short video about an aspect of the Christian faith and talk about it.
