Anthem: Shining as the Sun

He climbed the high mountain
with Peter, James and John.
He ascended to heights
beyond the unknown.

Below there were valleys
and peoples and nations,
all at His command,
all at His command,
all that His love could command.

Gathering the light of
both Father and Son.
Jesus, Creator, white
garments adorned,

seen throughout all ages,
current and past,
His brilliance transfigured,
His body transformed.

Shining as the sun, shining as the sun,
the disciples could see Moses and Elijah
and the King, the King, of all kings.

His face became dazzling,
too bright to behold
and as they were speaking
a bright cloud arose.

Surrounded with glory a
great voice was heard saying
"This is my Son,
and in Him I'm well pleased."

But Jesus said,
"Rise, don't be afraid.
I will be with you,
even 'til the end of the age."

Shining as the sun, shining as the sun,
the disciples could see Moses and Elijah
and the King, the King, of all kings.

Shining as the sun, shining as the sun,
the disciples could see Moses and Elijah
and the King, the King, the King
the King of all Kings!
